About PCIT
PCIT stands for Parent Child Interactive Therapy. PCIT is an evidenced-based treatment for behavioral problems such as aggression, non compliance, and temper tantrums. PCIT helps build the bond and attachment between caregiver and child. PCIT focuses on decreasing the negative aspects of the relationship and enhancing the positive. How does it work? Child and caregiver spend special play time together while a PCIT trained therapist coaches the parents a series of skills to master and feel proud of!
Do you feel like you have tried everything and nothing works? Overwhelmed by the behaviors? Fear of child being kicked out of school? Wanting a better relationship with your child? Needing more warmth in the relationship? PCIT might be the right fit for you!
