Hello! Meet Rebecca!
I am originally from California. I received my Bachelors Degree in Psychology from UC Davis . I then moved to Portland and graduated from Lewis and Clark College with a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am a Certified Yoga Teacher and Therapist. I have training in Exposure and Response Prevention.
I am LGBTQ+ affirming, sex positive, and believes in Health At Every Size!
I understand how overwhelming it can be to start therapy—especially when it feels like no one truly understands what you're going through. As someone who has personally experienced the challenges of post-concussion syndrome, a form of traumatic brain injury (TBI), I don’t just offer professional support—I relate on a deeply personal level.
My own recovery has given me firsthand insight into the emotional and physical toll these struggles can take. I know what it’s like to face uncertainty, frustration, and the need for patience and resilience. This lived experience allows me to approach therapy with empathy, compassion, and a unique understanding of what it takes to heal.
If you’re looking for a therapist who truly "gets it," I’d love to support you on your journey. Please feel free to reach out to schedule a consultation or ask any questions. You don’t have to do this alone.
When I am not seeing clients, I love to take care of my plants, go on walks, get into a creative art project, get bored and try a different one, go camping, and spend time with family and friends.
