(she/her)

Our bodies are our home. They keep us breathing and alive. They help us experience love, laughter and hope. They help us heal and grieve.  Our bodies are way of expressing our selves; creatively, physically, sexually, spiritually. They help us assert our needs and boundaries.

There can be a disconnect from our mind and body. Our body knows that we are safe but we have ruminating thoughts, or we logically know we are safe but our bodies are in fight, flight or freeze. Our work together will focus on integrating the mind and body so they can work together harmoniously.

This is why I don’t only use talk therapy to explore the mind (thoughts and feelings) but I also incorporate somatic approaches to get back into the body as a place to call home.

Sometimes this means braving situations outside our comfort zone, listening to our bodies, accepting thoughts as thoughts, and choosing to live our lives anyway.

I want you to walk away believing that you are a brave, strong, resilient, kind, fierce, sexy and beautiful human being!
